While growing into the likeness of Christ we learn through received blessing,
answered prayers and sometimes the blessings of unanswered prayers how much God loves us. A desire
grows within us to learn God's will for our lives and by studying His word the holy Bible and being
taught by those He has called to preach His truths we begin to understand just how pure a love He has
for us, even to the point of sending His very essence to sacrifice His life to save us. At that time
we can learn how to return that love as we discover day by day to walk by faith and trust in a relationship
with our creator and true Father.
Take a moment to read Chapter 11 of the book of Hebrews, known as the faith
chapter. By a careful reading of these verses we come to a realization of how important faith is to God.
And just how do we acquire this faith that pleases God? There is only one way, it must be given by God
who gives it freely to those He knows in His foreknowledge will choose to love Him. With this God given
faith we find our way to Him but for those who with their free will continue in their arrogance and
ignorance to choose to reject Him there is no faith given because it is not wanted. Unrepentant man requires
proof that can be seen, unless he can see and feel it he will not believe. God requires faith be exercised
without it being seen or felt. God put a place in every heart for man to need Him as evidenced by the
thousands of religions around the world that seek someone or something to worship because all of creation
gives evidence of a creator.

If you believe that thousands of chemicals came together in the perfect amount
to create the DNA that life was created from in Pond Scum then I'm sure you will never come to the
place you will need God or seek to find Him. Its life's biggest test, will you pass or fail? If you
for the slightest second think there could be a God of creation, stop and ask Him for the faith you
need to believe in Him. He keeps His promises and He has promised that if you seek Him you will find Him.
Genuine faith endures to the end; emotional decisions cannot. True faith continues
to believe in the truth. The author of Hebrews shows the superiority of the new covenant. God saved
this 'better thing', or the fulfillment of the promise, for this age of man. Without those of the
new covenant, even the worthiest champion of faith from the Old Testament could not be made sanctified.
