Since man first looked up at the stars and was awed by the expanse of the heavens, he has wondered about how it all began, how did he get here and what is his purpose if indeed there is a purpose at all. Is there life other than what we know about here on this rock floating in empty space we call earth and are there other life forms on rocks floating in outer space somewhere that they call earth? How long has there been a universe and how large is it? Is there an end beyond what we can see or does the universe stretch on forever? Galaxy after galaxy to infinity, and if so why and for what purpose? We are being told today that the universe is continuing to grow at an incredible pace. I don't understand how we know that but it seems that it is still expanding. Why and how is this possible?

As man has developed, the questions he asks have become more complicated and the answers have become even more complicated. It seems the more we learn the more we need to learn to understand. We have developed satellites we have sent out to study the planets in our system. We have developed telescopes to search the deep recesses of space and believe we have discovered some of the answers but in discovering we have only brought on even more complicated questions.

Man has developed theories such as "the big bang" which has left us with more questions than answers. We believe the universe is billions of years old but it seems like our speculations become outdated as more knowledge is accumulated and as quickly as we develop a new theory another is put forth to refute it. Does it seem to you, as it does to me, that the greater our knowledge increases the more we realize just how little we know of our universe?

We have scientists, men and women of great learning and knowledge, who say man or life in any form, came about by evolution. Their theory is that all life began in a mix of primordial soup; all the thousands of chemicals came together in the exact proportions to form DNA, the basis of all life. Is this really a believable theory? Then there is the "intelligent design theory" that says there was an intelligent designer; they say that the intricacies of life as we know it could not have developed accidentally.

The debates go on endlessly and we are left totally confused, knowing even less than when we started and with even more questions that remain unanswered. I may be one in the minority of the world but I would rather be told the truth about things than be told a lie and go through life believing something that is not the truth.

Are there answers out there that make sense, at least in a perspective we can understand? Are there not any simple answers that can be understood by the common man, or are we destined to go through our lives never knowing if we are just an accident or if we have been designed for a purpose? And what about the question of what happens when these wonderfully intricate but delicate bodies give out and we die? Will we just cease to exist or did the designer give us an eternal spirit as He claims.

All the oldest writings known to man make reference to a God, a supreme being who brought everything into being. An omnipotent, omniscient being who made all there is. Where did this God come from? How did He become so all knowing and all powerful?

In the following pages I will attempt to bring understanding to what has always been without understanding. To explain what has always been unexplainable. I will present one theory among many theories for your enlightenment and entertainment. Could it be possible that my theory happened in just the way I will present it?
