In The Beginning
Part #1

Have you ever wondered how it all began? Where did everything come from? Has everything always been as it is now or did something happen that started everything.

A very long, long time ago all was darkness; there were no animals, grass or trees. Our world was covered with water with no land to be found. Then God said we should create order and beauty of this desolate place, so he commanded light to come and scatter the darkness. Then He told the water to be calm and remove itself to its place so there could be land. But still the land was silent and dreary so He commanded the land to bring forth trees, plants and grass. How beautiful the trees and flowers are He said but let us separate the light and the dark and let each rule over their own time. The sun can rule through the day and then the moon can rule over the night so that the stars can be seen twinkling in all their glory.

Still the land and heavens were silent so God made creatures that could swim and play in the waters. and He was pleased so He made birds to fly and live in the trees and gave them sweet voices to drive away the silence. This pleased God very much so He decided to make animals to live on the land. He made all kinds and sizes of animals, some with fur and some with just skins, some that could only crawl or walk and some that could run and climb in the trees. He told them all to go and have young ones so the earth could be busy and full of the wonderful things He had made.

God looked down on the earth and saw how beautiful everything He had made was and said "It is very good!"

The story will continue weekly until we have answered all the questions of who we are and why we are here. Please visit us often or we will miss you so very much.
