Biography
Who is this guy?

R. A. (Bob) Goulding is a baby boomer, born June of 1946 in a small factory town in the heartland of Illinois. He grew up in Miami Florida, lived ten years in Houston, Texas then moved to the great state of North Carolina where he started a small family business which he ran for twenty years until suffering a major stroke in February of 1998. While recovering from the stroke he was diagnosed with lung cancer and as a result had his right lung removed. Unable to work in the family business he turned his company over to his wife and daughter and her husband as he was forced to retire. As a result he found himself with the time and opportunity to find out what God had in store for his future. He started devoting his time to the study of God's word and writing.

Through many trials, valleys and hills he has been blessed by the Lord and has found his true calling. One day out of the blue he informed his wife that he was going to write a book. She patted him on the shoulder and said, "Okay honey, you do that." In July of 2006 his first book "Devil or Angel - A Journey Out of Darkness" was published with a half a dozen other books in various stages of completion. His second book "Chronicles of Pastor Marcus" the next part in the Devil or Angel series is due to be released in March 2008. This book will also be released as an audio book.

While learning how to walk and talk again, which the doctors told him was unlikely, and overcoming the cancer, which he was also told he would probably only have one more year to live, he has succeeded with the strength of God and found out what it is to "walk by faith". Thus the motivating factor behind this web-site is to help others find the strength that God offers all His children and fulfill the plan He has for their lives.

His wife, Pam, is by his side editing his work and putting it all together on the website. He has three daughters, two wonderful son-in-laws, one almost son-in-law and six grandchildren, (five boys and finally a girl). When asked how life is treating him, he says, "I'm blessed."
