Resurrection Day

Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be
priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. Revelations 20:6 KJV
What great hope and joy this time of year instills in me. We may call it Easter but it brings to my mind the wonderful hope
the Christian has in the knowledge that after His crucifixion Jesus the Christ arose from the grave on the third day.
In doing so, He set the stage for every man, woman and child who died believing in Him, before His return for His bride at
the end of the church age, to be raised to join Him for eternity, but not just to join Him but reign with Him.

Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the
resurrection. Luke 20:36 KJV
I would urge you to take some time this Easter season to reflect on the meaning of the resurrection. We are told that
Jesus was resurrected to be the first born of many brethren; so if you claim the name of Christ you have the promise that you
will be resurrected to become a child of God. A child of the living God, how incredible is that? Equal unto the angels.
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? John 11:25-26 KJV
Though I live daily in hope of the rapture, when our Lord shall come for us, knowing we see daily the things that have been
prophesied coming to pass I also know no one has been promised tomorrow. I know we all think that we are invincible but the
fact remains that thousands die daily, but that's something we just don't allow ourselves to think about. For the Christian
that fact has no meaning because we have God's promise and assurance because of the resurrection of Christ.
We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:8 KJV
So whether we are snatched away or die here on earth and our bodies go back into the earth, we are assured that on the day of Christ'
return we will be given incorruptible bodies. What a great reunion it will be for we will be known by all and know everyone
all because Of Christ' resurrection on that glorious day almost two thousand years ago. This is the Christians lively hope
that we shall live forever with our creator and Saviour never again knowing pain, sorrow or sin.
But first we have a job to do and that is to plant the seed of hope in every heart so that when we are called by the Lord
they too will find their way to salvation and eternal life. I would impress on you this Easter season to show the love of
Christ to every soul that crosses your path. He is at the door, our time is short but our work is not finished.
2Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and
sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto
a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
5Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. 1 Peter 1:2-5 KJV
To the entire Walk by Faith family I say "God Bless you this Glorious Resurrection season." We look forward with great anticipation
to meeting each of you at the reunion. Give thought to the fact that God loved each of you enough to die for you. It was in
His perfect plan to bring into being a "New Creation" who will be known as Sons and Daughters of God. Each will overcome
death through Christ Jesus, the first born of many brethren.
Even the earth knows when it's time to worship Him who was resurrected. Check out the following link: http://www.wandascountryhome.com/pinetrees/index.html
